Feathers McGraw is back, and he’s out for revenge! The Wallace & Gromit films have always held a special place in the hearts of fans, and the release of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl this Christmas feels like a perfect festive treat. Few things can match the joy of seeing these iconic characters return to our screens during the holiday season. Here is my review!

A Villainous Comeback

The story kicks off with Feathers McGraw and his imprisonment following the infamous blue diamond heist back in 1993 during The Wrong Trousers! Well, “imprisonment” might be a stretch—he’s been confined to a zoo, blending in with the penguin exhibit.

While Feathers is biding his time, Wallace and Gromit are thriving. Wallace unveils his latest invention, the Norbot! A new machine taking away all the jobs from poor boy Gromit. Through Norbot, Feathers figured out how to get back in the game, by hacking the gnome robot and making him evil! This marks Feathers’ comeback—more devious than ever.

As the chaos unfolds, Wallace finds himself in hot water. His invention, under Feathers’ control, begins stealing items from local residents, tarnishing Wallace’s good reputation. The stage is set for a daring breakout, with Feathers determined to reclaim the blue diamond once and for all.

A Legendary Rivalry

Feathers McGraw cements his status as one of the best villains to grace our screens. Gromit, on the other hand, is the most good, loyal boy we’ve ever seen. What a dog!

The narrative takes a clever twist when it’s revealed the blue diamond was never in the vault—it’s been hidden in Wallace’s house all along! The title drop during this revelation is a standout moment, underscoring Feathers’ brilliance as an evil genius.

An Exhilarating Climax

The climactic chase sequence is one of the film’s highlights, showcasing the amazing rivalry between Gromit and Feathers McGraw. The tension builds to a nail-biting moment when it seems our beloved dog might not make it through. For a second, fans everywhere held their breath, only to be rewarded with Gromit’s triumphant return.
